What is PMVA training?
PMVA stands for Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression. It is practical training for staff who may face challenging or aggressive behaviour at work: how to recognise early warning signs, calm a situation through communication and de-escalation, keep yourself and others safe, respond to an incident and record it properly.
Who is PMVA training for?
Anyone who may face aggression at work: health and social care staff, mental health and learning disability services, education and SEND settings, security and other front-line roles. No previous training is needed.
Where does the course run and how much is it?
Face to face in Liverpool and London for £99 per person. Group rates are available, and for eight or more people we can deliver the course on site at your workplace.
