The Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism is the government's standardised training requirement for health and social care staff in England. KCP Training & Recruitment supports organisations at both tiers.

Tier 1
General awareness. For staff who need an understanding of learning disability and autism appropriate to their role.
Tier 2
Care and support. For staff who provide care and support for people with a learning disability or autistic people.
Trainers
We train the trainers. A two-day Train the Facilitating Trainer programme so your organisation can deliver Tier 2 in-house.

Who is the Care Certificate for?
The Care Certificate is designed for new care workers, support workers and healthcare assistants. It sets out 15 standards of knowledge, skills and behaviour expected in health and social care, and is also used by employers as part of structured induction. Do you deliver training at our workplace?
Yes. We deliver onsite face to face training for care teams and organisations across the UK, as well as open courses at our training venues covering London, Liverpool, Kent and Essex.
What is the difference between live webinar and face to face delivery?
Live webinar courses are delivered online in real time by a trainer, so learners can join from home or work. Face to face courses are delivered in person, either onsite at your workplace or at one of our venues. Both follow the same course content and standards.
